Here’s one for the modern day workaholic or maybe just the guy in the office we all love to hate. We have compiled some of the best mobile analytics apps that you can use for your website, social media profiles or other online properties that you can download them on your mobile device right now.

Google Analytics

This is our favourite. Google Analytics is a free analytics tool by the Big G. Once installed on your website, it measures metrics like audience, acquisition, user behaviour and the such. The mobile app is easy to use and not as in-depth as it’s desktop counterpart but good nonetheless. Download it:

FaceBook Pages

Facebook Pages lets you manage your Facebook Pages from the palm of your hand. Something that it’s not given much credit for is its ability to give insights on how your Facebook page is performing in terms of audience and engagement metrics.

Instagram Built In Insights Tool

If you don’t know what Instagram is, I suggest you quit living under a rock, get out and snap everything! GO! GO NOW! Instagram has a built in insights tool and it’s pretty decent. With it you can obtain metrics like post insights and follower insights. Drill down even further and you can obtain demo information, which can be super important for future use.

Mixpanel

Mixpanel is a product analytics platform that really delves deep into user data. It has the capacity to provide insights into features such as user behaviour, funnel data and engagement (of course). It’s really impressive and we can’t do it justice here so check them out. Download it:

Appsee

Appsee is great analytics platform for apps! It has so many capabilities such as session recordings, heatmaps and crash reporting that comes with…wait for it… videos! It’s probably one of the coolest app analytics platforms and it’s used by some corporate bigwigs like Samsung, eBay, Avis and Virgin. Unfortunately, you can’t get your hands on it unless you’re a customer (which is fair tbh) and you can check it out  here.

HotJar

Hotjar is very similar to Appsee but is an analytics platform for websites. With this app, you will be able to access your site analytics including heatmaps, funnels, forms and surveyed feedback. The mobile app is not as great as it’s desktop sibling, as this version doesn’t have video recordings AND it’s not available on iOS just yet.Sucks for the many of us with iPhones but fret not, as of November 2017, Hotjar is coming to iOS.
